Elections are TOMORROW!

Hello lovely SNU Students!

Tomorrow is the BIG DAY! That's right, you will have the opportunity to log onto MySNU.edu and cast your vote for your new Executive Council for
SGA! Its an exciting time and I hope you all understand how great it is that you have the power to impact next year!

SGA is responsible for over 50 events on campus and there are only 2 weekends out of this whole past year that SGA is not putting on an event! That means that a huge part of the college experience is directly related to SGA. Whether its Dodgeball, Heartpal, Pow Wow, Softball Marathon, or the newest addition- Who's The Man, what you attend and how well/ meaningful it is affects your experience here on campus.

When looking for a new Student Body President, I hope that you all would take the time to really contemplate your desires for next year. The President you choose will have a great impact on how SGA will be run and will also be a huge factor in the Student Body's voice being heard by administration and staff.

One thing I love and would continue if elected President is the Cabinet Chat we have implemented into our schedule of events. It is easy to see how important and necessary it is to the students after only the first session. We had library hours changed simply due to the fact that administration had not known previously that such changes were desired. Also, several of you came to the chat with very serious questions that were well received and answered by the cabinet concerning all of the new changes here on campus. If you'd like to hear what all was discussed in that session, I'd encourage you to listen to the Audio Stephen recorded. There will be another Cabinet Chat on March 24th, and I would encourage you all to show up to ask questions! :)

A lot has changed and more could possibly change next year. I feel that with these proposed changes comes a great need for the desires and thoughts of the students to be heard by the student body. This is something I'm passionate about- whether you're quiet or outspoken, I feel as though your opinions and thoughts deserve to be heard when certain changes that are being made will directly affect you.

When considering who you want to vote for, please remember that I have a great desire to serve SNU's campus with my whole heart and fight for the students to be heard and considered in all decisions. I love this school and I hope that when you cast your vote, you remember to VOTE MENDY! :)

Do Justice.
-Mendy 4 President 2009
